Hello all. Still no word from ID, they must not stop in on weekends. I saw Dr. Layman at the nurses station this morning, he usually does that first then comes by. Never did. I am going to ask him about discharge tomorrow. Dr. Knapp and Dr. Peck came by, jack's foot is still swollen but they are still monitoring. Basically they said there is no reason for it but they can take the cast off anytime of necessary. Because babies grow so fast they do a lot of cast changes apparently.
Jack was restless again last night, sleeping in 30 hr to hour spurts. So mom is officially tired for the first time. Today I had finally gotten him to lie down after a few hours and the nurse decides it's a good time to take vitals. 7 hrs later he finally went to sleep but only downstairs where I can't sleep. The other thing is I have ZERO privacy here and the staff has IMPECCABLE timing. Im over the food here as can't wait to cook. Something you'd usually never hear me say. I want to be on my own schedule (well Jacks lets face it he's in charge), and I want out of this hospital!!!
Grandma Stevie came to visit. She brought strawberry pie :) yum! She almost got Jack to smile! Which would have been awesome!!!! He's teasing us so far, you can tell he wants too lol. Thank you Stevie for the visit, I'm starting to lose my mind in here. JR also noticing mom needed a break came home took Jack downstairs and let me sleep a few hours and get my shower in. I'm proud to say I haven't missed a shower yet!
Anywho, thankfully there wasn't a lot to update.
