Happy Tuesday! Our little frog prince slept through most of last night, getting the first leg in around 930pm, sleeping until midnight, then had a bottle, went back to sleep with mom and dad until almost 3, had a bottle, then slept until 730. Can't complain. I got him up and ready, Dad found his way to the golf course today despite the pouring rain. :) And took him over to Dr. Otero's office for his follow-up and reintroduction to the regular doc. She couldn't believe how big he was! With the cast, if you remember, he was 10 lbs, 14 oz last week, today he was 12 lbs even! My chunky boy! I love it! Especially since he struggled with his weight in the beginning. We checked into Dr Knapps at 6 lbs 8 oz! Now he's between 10-11 lbs! His temperature was normal and he slept through the appt. she suggested rice cereal (a tiny amount) to help him feel fuller and hopefully keep the formula down until we get this cast off his stomach. She also started him on a probiotic to help with all the antibiotics he has been on. We go back when he is cast free to start our vaccines. We have our first F/U with Dr Knapp tomorrow. I'm going to beg for a recast or removal because our guy is too big for this cast. And he won't fit in the car seat much longer. If they recast we will have to rent the car bed. Which is fine for a week.
We spent the rest of the afternoon playing and then napping. Dad got some computer work done. Then I was able to go to yoga. JR brought Jack up to class when we were done to meet everyone. He was a hit :)
Now he seems terribly uncomfortable. I caved and gave him some Tylenol to get through the night, his swelling isn't any worse but it's hard to keep food down. He isn't vomiting and doesn't have a fever so I continue to be convinced its the cast pressing down on that little stomach. So fingers crossed for it to come off tomorrow.
Thanks to all the moms I've been drilling. I have so many questions right now :)
